Back in 2018, McDonald’s tested breakfast catering at 195 locations in Florida with bundle options suitable for groups of 6, 12, 18 and 24. They even offered the “group size” beverage items like coffee in an insulated bag, tea, and orange juice.
Customers could choose from various packages. For example, Sunrise Surprise is a breakfast bundle for 6 persons and included 3 Egg McMuffins, 3 Sausage, Egg and Cheese McGriddles, 3 Fruit ‘N Yogurt Parfaits, 3 Hashbrowns and McCafe Coffee Tote or a Gallon of Orange Juice.
Then there’s the Breakfast Boss which serves 12 people and includes 6 Bacon, Egg & Cheese McGriddles®, 6 Sausage Burritos, 3 Hotcakes, 6 Hash Browns, 3 Fruit & Maple Oatmeals, 6 Apple Slice packets, McCafé® Coffee Tote and a Gallon of O.J.
I included the McDonald’s Breakfast Catering menu in one of the posts I wrote in the past.
McDonald’s breakfast catering was available during regular morning breakfast hours until 10:30AM. Customers could order via McDelivery (if it was available in the area), UberEats or by calling the local restaurant and picking up the order at the agreed time.
I checked with our local McDonald’s and was told that their catering availability varies by location. Around here, if you want to order McDonald’s catering you will need to place individual orders thru McDelivery or through its delivery partners like GrubHub, UberEats and DoorDash.
How to Place a McDonald’s Catering Order?
If you want to place a large order, McDonald’s advises to do so at least an hour in advance. If it’s a really huge order (example: 200 Big Macs, 200 10-piece McNuggets or 200 Egg McMuffins) then I recommend ordering days in advance. McDonald’s is typically busy and especially so during peak hours like lunch or dinner times and may not be able to cater to your catering order unless you give them advance notice.

In any case, you have a few options for placing a catering order with McDonalds:
- Option 1: If available, order it via the McDonald’s app or McDelivery. This way you can rack up points and redeem it for freebies later on. You may also be able to take advantage of some app-exclusive deals like a free large fries or a free upsize on your drinks.
- Option 2: Order via McDonald’s delivery partners like UberEats, DoorDash, GrubHub and EZCater. You may qualify for free delivery if your order reaches a certain amount.
- Option 3: Call the store to place your order. This is recommended especially for large orders. You can call them ahead and pick up your order at your agreed upon time/date.

McDonald’s Wedding Catering Available at Select Locations
McDonald’s outlets outside the U.S. are now offering wedding catering packages for as low as $231. The fast-food giant has recently introduced a package for those who want McDonald’s to cater their special event. The deal includes 100 chicken sandwiches and 100 packs of four-piece chicken nuggets for just $231.
However, this doesn’t mean you can tie the knot inside a McDonald’s restaurant. Instead, they will deliver the food to your chosen venue. Currently, this wedding catering option is only available in Indonesia.
